Since laying the groundwork for the national science and technology development strategy, the scientific and technological innovation sector has developed in leaps and bounds. A significant by-product of a string of supportive policies has been the rapid development of China’s domestic life sciences sector, which has emerged as a key pillar of strategic growth nationally. Concurrently, with an upcoming series of high-level reforms promoting centralized and mass procurement, the bio-pharmaceuticals industry has set itself goals of cost reduction and increased efficiency, while always maintaining the highest level of scientific integrity. Chinese life sciences enterprises are at the crossroads, where identifying competitive advantages and calculated integration of innovation to achieve technological breakthrough would mean survival or obsolescence.

It is against this backdrop that the “2021 Tianmu Bio-Pharm Innovation Forum” is scheduled for the afternoon of the 4^th of July 2021.
